ARTFURNITURE is a unique annual show of furniture art.

ARTFURNITURE/ARFEX made its first appearance in 2001. From this moment on the exhibition gained the reputation of a prestigious show of achievements of modern designers and furniture manufacturers.

The exhibition success is mostly defined by the target, which is set by organizers – to create a business platform in order to:

• Combine the efforts of designers and manufacturers for working out of new samples of furniture, representing the latest trends;
• Enable Russian manufacturers to reach a brand new level in furniture manufacture;
• Extend the data base in the field of new trends of design development and innovative technologies;
• Display the full scale of possibilities of up-to-date Russian furniture market;
• Influence customers’ attitude to interior design as an indispensable part of existence.

Exhibition concept – joint efforts and possibilities of furniture manufacturers and designers for the purpose of creation of a complete style unity of all the components of interior design, composition singleness, rationality and utility, in combination with contemporaneity and traditions, elegance of technical progress with luxury of classic furniture shapes.

A complete section is dedicated to the salon ART - DECOR, which demonstrates extraordinary ideas of designers and engineers.

The exhibition will include ART – SALON, which will display exclusive authors’ works by artists, sculptors and architects.

Traditionally the exhibition welcomes the annual contest ARTFURNITURE-2005, held by the Moscow Designers’ Union. One and the same fair ground will show all trends of art: authors’ projects of architects and designers, furniture sets represented by manufacturers and distributors, original authors’ works and complex projects made according to the latest technologies, ambience decoration articles being a traditional part of any artistic program. The jury will choose the best works and award the winners.

• Registration charge – 200$ (VAT not included)
• Cost of publication in the exhibition catalogue (printed and Internet versions) in Russian and English – 200$ (VAT not included)

We welcome the participation of everyone who creates and distributes furniture, works out interior design elements: furniture manufacturers, design bureaus, salons, studios, artistic workshops, galleries, antiquarians and interior decorators, artists, florists, and everyone involved in furniture industry.

The exhibition and all included events will be highlighted by Mass Media.
